BoxPT Self Storage is for people who have too much stuff at work or home.

The storage facility at Praia do Carvoeiro will give you access to your own clean and secure room.

We aim to provide an affordable, high quality and secure storage facility that will meet your everyday needs.

You will be able to store goods that you do not want on a daily basis, but they are important enough to keep for personal or business use.

Obviously you can’t store anything which might cause a fire or damage to other people’s property. For example you can store a chain saw, but you need to take the petrol out of its tank.

Equally you cannot store anything illegal. We are regularly visited by the Police for routine inspections, so please refer to your contract for the full list of forbidden items.

We are located on the "in" road to Carvoeiro when coming form Lagoa in the Fabrica Velha: Rua dos Pescadores 131, Garagem, 8400-512, Praia do Carvoeiro, Portugal

You will have full access to your box during our opening hours, and you are able to give others access as well. You will need to make us aware of the additional key holders' names and contact numbers. We will then provide you with additional entry fobs for a small charge.

Our opening hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

You can sign up online by pressing the "reserve a box" button, or ring us to arrange a meeting time at the facility.

Once you have signed up we will require a little time with you face to face. We will need to see relevant identification showing your photo and your address - i.e. two of the following items, Driving Licence, Passport, Utility Bill, Employee ID card, Student Pass, this protects you, us and our other customers.

Box costs vary according to size. Please use the website calculator or call one of the team to find out about our attractive and flexible pricing policy.

Boxes are only available on a monthly basis with a minimum duration of 1 month.

You pay 1 month in advance plus a 1 month fully refundable security deposit when you move in.

We keep our pricing as simple as possible.

If you want to leave, you need to give just 3 working days' notice and leave your box tidy. We will refund you the security deposit within a week of your departure by bank transfer.

We offer a free month for all boxes larger than 5m2 if you book a whole year in advance.

Payments can be made in cash, online payments (credit card, SEPA or PayPal) or via electronic transfer.

It is your responsibility to ensure payments are made promptly and efficiently. Failure to pay may lead to the loss of access to your box and eventually to the reposession of the contents.

Your box will be locked with your own lock.

Access to the facility will be controlled by electronic key, CCTV covers the building and is remotely monitored 24/7. Intruder alert and fire alert systems are also in operation.

Simply put, we want to ensure that your items are safer in our facility than they are in your own home or business!

If you lose the key fob, please inform us immediately and we will deactivate it. We will then issue you with a replacement for a fee of 10€ each.

We will only open your box if we suspect there’s something dangerous or illegal inside, or if we’re required to do so by law enforcement.

Remember that our terms forbid you from storing anything illegal (including drugs), explosive or flammable in your box.

We welcome businesses, many of whom find a self storage unit highly economical.

Yes, your goods need to be insured when they are stored with us.

BoxPT Self Storage can provide you basic coverage of €200/m2 for your goods, alternatively you can store your goods through your own insurance policy.

We will require evidence of your insurance policy showing our full address and full replacement value of your goods stored within the faciility.
